There are times in life when we need emotional support, events such as the wedding above, a breavement, feelsings of loss when children leave home, or exams, where nerves can seriously impact performance, or even everyday situations such as a stressful journey to work every day, people at work or in the family not behaving in a supportive way. These are examples of life just happening, but we need to be emotionally strong enough to cope with them. Any life situation comes with its own emotional baggage.  Flower remedies are perfect for dealing with and releasing any negative emotions, and balancing behaviour that does not work in our own best interest. Emotional effect of Illness
Being ill may bring up feeling of guilt for not being able to do as much as you usually do, or inadequacy, frustration because you are used to being independent and you now have to rely on others.
 
For example, if you have digestive problems, as well as needing the digestion issue resolved (which I do herbally), you may feel insecure because you may need the toilet wherever you go, or you may feel embarrassed if you have wind, frightened of what others will say, withdrawn when you are in a strange place, all these emotions are not the illness, but are brought up when you have to deal with the effects of the illness on your life.
 
Emotions related to life transitions
Even when we are not ill, we all go through life transitions, such as puberty, motherhood, menopause, children leaving home, looking after elderly parents, loss of loved ones, these will all have accompanying emotions that are either dealt with and released, or they stay in your energy field. We will all have come across someone who has recently lost a loved one, their grief is almost palpable.
 
Emotional aspects of Emergencies and Crisis
Whenever there is any crisis or emergency, your body has to deal with the shock of the event, and how you deal with it emotionally,  anger, fright, blame, judgement, disassociation, and many more are perfectly legitimate reactions to a crisis, however, the effect they have on your body are enormous. Especially if you hold on to these emotions and carry them forward with you beyond the crisis situation. For example, if you experienced shock and as a result you withdrew emotionally, that is a perfect response to the crisis. But if you then carry it on to your work situation, then that may limit your progress in your career.
 
Emotional baggage and Weight loss
Take another issue such as weight loss, if you are overweight, as well as diet and nutrition, there is a lot of emotional baggage associated with weight, Are you trying to protect yourself? Are you avoiding something by eating? Is it a scapegoat? Are you sabotaging your success? Do you think these issues will go away if you loose weight? Do you think you will be able to loose your weight if you do not address these emotional issues?
 
Unsupporting behaviours
Are you tired all the time, and falling into unsupportive patterns, repeating the same mistakes, doing what does not suit and nurture you? Scared to go out? Think the world is against you? Think there is no hope?
